Yes, we are the newest approved agency in Alberta and we currently have availability for those who want to join.
However, we have strict screening and application procedure for every applicant, so the following application process has to be done, contact us only if you are confident you can be a good caretaker and you have sufficient space in your house.
Follow the following procedure to apply as an educator:
- Browse through Inner Garden, learn about our values and goals on our website.
- Existing dayhome with children is prioritized.
- Complete the following application to proceed:
Property Requirements:
| Index | Requirement |
| 1 | Property must be one of the following or similar: Single House, Duplex |
| 2 | Indoor activity area must be greater than 700 sqft (1 level) |
| 3 | Property must have an outdoor activity area that satisfies the following requirements of 4, 5, 6 |
| 4 | The outdoor activity area must be fenced, gated and accessible from the house |
| 5 | The outdoor activity area must be grassed OR rubbered. |
| 6 | The outdoor activity area must not be rock, gravel or dirt. |
| 7 | The indoor activity area used for dayhome must not be accessible by tenants (if any). |
| 8 | Property must not be used for short-term rental NOR room rental. (Split suite might be applicable upon inspection) |
| 9 | [All occupants], and [all visitors that will be inside the property during dayhome business hours] must submit a clear Police Check from CPS to Inner Garden. |
